Graphic Brand Designer
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Creative Director
PURPOSE
Work in collaboration with all studio teams to create visual concepts to communicate brands and ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate a target audience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create brand graphic design from concept through development for a variety of projects with scope to include; collaborate with design team on naming, produce visual identity, collateral design, brand guideline deliverables, and integration of brand into the built environment.
- Create visual identities (logos, icon systems, colors, fonts), print media, packaging online campaigns, websites and applications. Experience in the application of branded environments design.
- Maintain the highest design quality by proofing all materials prior to delivery, assuring brand alignment and design standards are met.
- Have an understanding and grasp on environmental design and thoughtfully design for experiences in 3-dimensional spaces and physical environments.
- Adept at distilling insights and strategy from market research. Work collaboratively with creative and design teams to develop highly bespoke design.
- Develop and design signage and wayfinding concepts and collaborate with signage vendors.
- Work in collaboration with internal creative and design teams to prepare engaging and compelling branding presentations to clients.
- Design digital collateral and branded promotional products.
- Provide graphic design support to all design studios, such as creating original environmental graphics, digital artwork, laying out and editing mock-ups, support for CID Forecast publication, and assisting with product branding.
- Collaborate with interior design team members on brand experience.
- Develop ideas and strategies that show insight and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design,
- Experience in application of branded environments design
- Basic understanding of interior design industry. Experience with multi-family and hospitality a plus.
- 3-6 years of experience
- Ability to advance design ideas into two- and three-dimensional graphic solutions using a variety of media.
- Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe suite software; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook; presentation software such as PowerPoint, InDesign and Canva.
- A personal portfolio that contains a strong and varied design approach, as well as specific examples of fully realized and produced graphic projects
- Familiarity with file types, sizing, risk assessment, trademarking.
- Show expertise with required file types and sizes for various platforms and mediums including marketing collateral, digital and print, social media, etc.
